Dog therapy session with a child

Why was TUSowe Klimaty created?

We want to accompany children and their families in discovering themselves, building relationships, and developing social skills. We believe everyone deserves attentive support and a safe space for development.

Who am I

My name is Agata Paciorek and I support children who experience strong emotions and have difficulties in relationships. Working with neurodiverse children is especially close to my heart, including those on the FASD, ADHD, and autism spectrum. My goal is for every child to feel safe, understood, and confident in their interactions with others.

Why a dog?

The presence of a properly prepared dog:

  • lowers emotional tension
  • helps the child open up to relationships
  • provides a sense of security
  • supports empathy and responsibility

TUS Sessions Combined with Dog Therapy

I invite children to unique sessions combining Social Skills Training with dog therapy. Contact with a properly prepared dog promotes the release of the 'happiness hormone', helps with calming, reducing emotional tension, and building a sense of security. Thanks to the friendly and safe presence of the dog, children open up more easily to relationships, learn to recognize and express emotions, and establish contacts with peers. The sessions also support overcoming fears and shyness - in a natural, non-intrusive way, children learn to cope with difficult emotions, strengthen their sense of agency, self-confidence, and courage in social contacts.

  • Release of 'happiness hormone'
  • Calming and reducing tension
  • Building a sense of security
  • Overcoming fears and shyness
  • Strengthening self-confidence

Common challenges

How we support children every day

We support children through emotional and social challenges with warmth, calm guidance, and child-centered care.

Intense anger outbursts

We support children who feel big anger and find it hard to express safely. Together, we build calmer, safer ways to respond at home and at school.

ADHD

We help children with ADHD build focus, turn-taking, and healthier responses to frustration, step by step and at a pace they can handle.

FASD

For children with FASD, we use clear structure, predictable routines, and a calm pace so they can feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
